BUD SHELLS

  1. OMG - the DRAPES! If you grew up in the 60's and 70's like me
    your family home or relative's place had drapes similar to these.
    Along with the couch of leaf pattern in autumn colors (I called my grandmother's the "Thanksgiving" couch). Or the table lamps with the frilly lamp shades my stepmother's mom had in her mobile home. All purchased after WW2 with money they both made during the war. (You could not buy much during the war, so they both saved beaucoup bucks Grandma at the US Navy supply depot in San Francisco Bay, and step granma "Rosie the riveter"
    at an aircraft assembly plant that brought her from Arkansas to Los Angeles. Now all we need are the tension pole lamps with the conical shades, the geometric cutout tensioned wall dividers and the plastic colored beaded "hippie" curtain.
