JACK BURKE (Gay Porn Actor and Model)

Between 1978 and about 1982, Jack
Burke was everywhere.  And that's not a complaint.  I
have always thought he was extremely hot, though he is not
what I have ever viewed as husband material.  I can't
find any interviews with him, or any trustworthy
biography.  So I don't know if he is still
 around.

For most if not all of his porn
career, Jack lived in SF.  I don't know who
"discovered" him, and I wish I could tell you.
However, from what I can see, Jack's earliest work was
for John Travis and Brentwood.

I have found two references to Jack
being former military:  J. Brian in several instances
refers to Jack as former Navy--in fact, J Brian says that
his first photos of Jack were taken while Jack was still on
active duty in the Navy.  Fred Bisonnes says that he was an
Army sergeant.  I don't know if Jack ever was
military, but of the two, I'd say that Fred may
 be closer to the truth.

In the 1978 Brentwood loop entitled
"The Homecoming," Jack co-stars with Scott
Anderson, who was his lover in "real life."  The
plot of this loop is that Jack plays a soldier home on
leave, and Scott plays the military spouse.  In that loop,
Jack starts off wearing the uniform of an Army Spec-5
(which is not exactly a sergeant), and has a lot of fruit
salad in evidence.  On his left tit.  Aye, that left pap
where heart doth hop.   Do I believe that Brentwood is
going to put together this costume for a porn film?
I'd sooner believe that the uniform was
 Jack's.

And if Jack were still in the
service when he was doing porn, do we think the pornographer
would specify which branch?
